Abstract Airborne gravimetry is an efficient and reliable method to obtain information on the gravity field, fundamental field modelling, geoid determination, flood risk mapping. In evaluation utilization of estimates, two measures are importance, namely accuracy spatial resolution. These related one another through filtering required suppress observational noise. As strapdown inertial measurement units (IMUs) increasingly deployed for airborne surveys, Kalman filter estimation routinely used determination. Since not applied directly observations in filtering, it straightforward associate derived estimates with a measure This investigation presents deriving resolution by evaluating transfer function formed after applying delta observed accelerations. The Kalman-filter-derived from IMU system, yielding full-wavelength 5.5 km at 0.6 mGal. results consistent comparison upward continued terrestrial observations.
